Translators howto
Your language does not appear in the screenshots pages or it's not uptodate. You can help us by translating gcompris (Also check the status of all locales). It's easy, just download the .pot file and insert your translation in the msgstr field. If gcompris is already translated but the translation is not uptodate, pick the latest .po file and update it. You can use a graphical tool like kbabel to help you in this task. Last, send the translated file to bruno point coudoin à free point fr. You can also join the gnome i18n team to help translate gcompris and why not other packages.
Developers informations
If you want to add new boards, download and run GCompris, it comes with a full documentation that describes the GCompris internal and a step by step instruction on how to add boards. To give an idea of the amount of work, a board is usually set in a single file of about 500 lines of C code or Python. GCcompris is based on the widget Canvas from Gnome). Have a look also at the API of the gnomecanvas.
